Annually, The Future Leaders Institute hosts The Legacy Awards, a major event where hundreds of community & business leaders, social entrepreneurs and innovative thinkers from across the region come together to celebrate the very best work from students throughout the program. In honoring their work, FLI invites special guests, parents, educators and family to join us for an unforgettable evening where scholarships, awards and many other gifts are distributed to celebrate the best of the best of FLI!
Past honorees have helped bring art to life with an art gallery at school, started ongoing music classes for underprivileged students in low-income communities, held widely-attended photo exhibitions to benefit the homeless of Oakland and created countless other original solutions for some of the world’s most pressing needs.
